I’ve had my fair share of struggles for the past three years now, and I’ve never really written about it on this blog before lol
I had a really fun and long summer trip back in 2022 and I made some unhealthy choices. I didn’t realise till the end of my trip but I’m kinda glad I figured it out late, ‘cause I was able to enjoy my holiday.
But a part of me wishes I stayed on track from the start, but whatever.

For the past three years I’ve been saying that I want to start going to gym and eating healthy. Yunno, tracking calories and stop sugars and all that stuff, but it’s been hard for sure.
I tried doing intermittent fasting but I just ended up with GERD and ulcer lmaoo. So yeah, I stopped that.

But the funny thing is, I have a difficult relationship with food. I don’t enjoy eating like that anymore. I’ve just been so bored; eating the same meals over and over again.
But that has changed recently, and let me tell you all about it.
A few days ago, I impulsively signed up at the gym, even though I don’t even have that long left on this trip, but I just want to start this new fitness journey.
I ordered some gym clothes and i signed up online at the gym and I start this weekend. I’ll probably document my experience here.
I’m excited, really excited.

And I’ve also been eating more healthy foods lately. I’ve discovered two of my favourite breakfast meals. It’s either I have overnight oats or avocado toast and sunny side up eggs. I love them so much, and they taste good too.
I find myself checking for healthy meals on TikTok and saving them to a special collection.
I also want to get into the habit of eating dinner early and going to bed early enough. No more “sleeping tomorrow”.
Right now the goal is to eat well, become more active and get enough night rest.
It’s a whole life revamp.
I really hope I don’t lose interest in this journey, but we’ll see.
I can’t wait to write updates, so stay tuned.
