Cartoon network is the center for all things animation. We spent most of our childhood watching these shows and they gave us great joy LOL. Children of nowadays will never know what we enjoyed and that’s quite sad. For some of us, our love for cartoons did not end with our childhood. Some of us still watch cartoons and although most of our favorite cartoons from back in the day have stopped airing,we are taking a trip down memory lane as we reminisce about the OG cartoon network shows. Although it’s quite hard to limit them to just 20 but we aregonna do it anyway.
This is an animated American TV series. This follows the life of a young aspiring chef apprentice; Chowder who works in Chef Mung Daal’s catering company. Chowder often finds himself in crazy situations because of his never ending appetite and him being a little dumb LOL. It was created by C. H. Greenblatt for Cartoon Network.
19. Megas XLR
This is an American animated TV series which revolves around the lives of two slackers: mechanic Coop and his best friend Jamie. They find a mecha robot from the future called Megas (Mechanized Earth Guard Attack System) in a junkyard in New Jersey. Coop modifies Megas and replaces his head, the control center, with a classic muscle car and names him XLR (eXtra Large Robot). Together with Megas’ original pilot Kiva, they must defend earth from the evil alien race called “The Glorft”. The series is a homage and parody of Mecha anime. It was created by Jody Schaeffer and George Krstic for Cartoon Network.
18. Camp Lazlo
The show revolves around a spider monkey named Lazlo, who attends a boy scout-like summer camp called Camp Kidney, with a cast of anthropomorphic animal characters. Lazlo is a free spirited monkey and his jelly cabin bunkmates Clam the albino Rhino and Raj the elephant are always up to something much to the disappointment of Scoutmaster Lumpus. Lumpus is determined to make sure nobody has fun at camp. This is an American animated TV series created by Joe Murray.
17. Foster’sHome for Imaginary Friends
It centers on a boy named Mac, who is pressured by his mother to abandon his imaginary friend, Bloo. After Mac and Bloo discover an orphanage dedicated to housing abandoned imaginary friends, Bloo moves into the home and is kept from adoption as long as Mac visits him daily. Each episode revolves around Mac and Bloo as they interact with other imaginary friends and house staff and live out their day-to-day adventures, often getting caught up in various predicaments.
16. The Life and Times of Juniper Lee
This is an American animated series that revolves around the life of an 11 year old girl named Juniper Lee. She lives in Orchid Bay City. The city is a hub for magical activity and is filled with various monsters and demons, both good and evil. The magic and human worlds have been separated by a magical barrier, known as “The veil” which prevents ordinary humans from seeing any magic-related events or the creatures related to them. Juniper has recently been made the protector and keeper of the balance between the magic and human worlds. To accomplish her tasks, she has been magically enhanced, making her far stronger and faster than ordinary humans. She can also use various kinds of magic to assist her. She also has to balance her school and social life in the mix. It is created by former MTV reality star Judd Winick for cartoon network.
15. The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack
It is about a naïve young boy who grew up inside a talking whale and was raised by same whale named Bubbie and is mentored by a grumpy sea pirate called Captain K’nuckles. The three of them spend their days in Stormalong Harbor, where most of the show takes place, whilst on the search for the elusive Candied Island. It was created by Thurop Van Orman who was also the voice of Flapjack.
This series featured Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Norville “Shaggy” Rogers-and their talking brown Great Dane named Scooby-Doo. These teens plus the dog, solve mysteries involving supposedly supernatural creatures through a series of antics and missteps.
13. Robot Boy
This series centers on the latest invention of the world renownedscientist, Professor Moshimo, Robot Boy. Due to his fear that Robot boy wouldbe stolen by his archenemy Dr. Kamikazi and his henchman Constantine to be usedto take over the world, Professor Moshimo entrusts Robot boy to 10 year oldTommy Turnbull, his biggest fan living in San Francisco. While being protectedby Tommy and his two friends Lola and Gus, robot boy learns how to behave andact as if he were a real boy while occasionally battling Dr. Kamikazi andConstantine who sought out to capture him.
12. My Gym Partner’s a Monkey
The series follows Adam Lyon, a human who, after a clerical errorlisted his surname as “Lion”, is forced to transfer to Charles Darwin Middleschool, a school for local anthropomorphic zoo animals, where he is partneredwith Jake Spidermonkey in gym, hence the title, and quickly becomes bestfriends with him. It was created by Tim Cahill and Julie McNally Cahill.
11. Courage the Cowardly Dog
This is an American animated horror comedy television series. It revolvesaround the life of a pink, anthropomorphic dog who lives with an elderly couplein the middle of nowhere. In each episode the trio are thrown into bizarre andfrequently disturbing misadventures, often involving the paranormal orsupernatural. The series is known for its dark, surreal humor and atmosphere.
10. The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
Also known as “Billy and Mandy”. This is an American animatedtelevision series. This series follows two children, Billy and Mandy. Billy isa slow witted happy-go-lucky boy and Mandy is his dark and cynical best friendwho, after winning a limbo game to save Billy’s pet hamster, gain the mightyGrim Reaper, who for some weird reason has a Jamaican accent, as their bestfriend in eternal servitude and slavery. The three go on adventures togetherbalancing school, family and visitors from the spirit world.

This series centers on the title character Johnny Bravo, amuscular and self-centered young man who tries to get women to date him, thoughhe is usually unsuccessful. He ends up in bizarre situations and predicaments. Itis an American animated series created by Van Partible.
8. Samurai Jack
SamuraiJack is an American action-adventure animated television series. It follows “Jack”an unnamed Japanese samurai who, after nearly defeating the ultimate evil beingknown as Aku, is sent forward in time by him to a dystopian future ruled by atyrannical shape-shifting demon. Jack who is brought to the future with only asword, a robe and sandals, quests to travel back in time and defeat Aku beforehe can take over the world. Jack’s search for his way back to his own timeperiod transcends Aku’s control, but Jack’s efforts are in vain due to the waysback home being just out of his reach. It was created by Genndy Tartakovsky.
The franchise revolves around a 10 year oldboy, Ben Tennyson, who acquires a watch-like alien device called The Omnitrix,which allows him to transform into ten different alien heroes, each with itsown unique abilities. The series features Ben alongside his cousin, Gwen, andhis grandpa Max, having the best summer of his life fighting evil aliencreatures as he turns into one himself using the omnitrix.
6. ThePowerpuff Girls
Thisis an American animated TV series. Accidentally created in a lab by ProfessorUtonium, super powered sisters, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, regularly savetheir city called Townsville from evildoers such as Mojo Jojo. Blossom is theself-proclaimed leader of the Powerpuff girls, Bubbles is the cute, innocentone and Buttercup is the toughest one. The series follows the trio fightingcrime and also highlights the love between them as sisters.
Thisseries follows Dexter, a boy-genius and inventor with a secret laboratory inhis room, which he keeps a secret from his parents. He is a constant battlewith his older sister, Dee Dee, who always finds a way to get into Dexter’s laband inadvertently foil his experiments. Dexter also engages in a bitter rivalrywith a fellow boy-genius named Mandark, who is Dexter’s neighbor and classmate.

Thisseries follows the lives of a family called The Addams Family, hence the title.It follows the family living in the bright, cheerful town of Happydale Heightsand facing some kind of threat from a series of recurring villains orindividuals who either wanted to force the Addams’ from their home or captureone of them(usually uncle Fester) for nefarious purposes.
